This post will show you 10 of the best Youtube Interior design channels for attainable inspiration that you can implement in your home today.
By now you’ve probably drooled over at least one rich and famous celebrity’s home tour on Architectural Digest. And yes, they’re fabulous to daydream about – full of fancy art, designer furniture, and “wood imported from Indonesia’s magical underwater Atlantis”.
But where does one go for REALISTIC, attainable interior design inspiration? Ideas for home improvements that are achievable for normal people and not just billionaires?
Don’t worry—this post has you covered! Whether you’re sprucing up a rental, tackling your first home renovation, or just craving some fresh ideas, these Youtube channels offer plenty of doable inspiration. They’re filled with tips, tricks, and styles you can actually adapt to your own space—no billionaire budgets required.

Over time, I’ve realized the most inspiring homes aren’t flawless showpieces—they’re spaces with character that reflect the people living in them. The channels on this list celebrate exactly that: lived-in, imperfect, and deeply personal designs that tell a story.
As Alain de Botton wisely said in his book The Architecture of Happiness:
“We need a home in the psychological sense as much as we need one in the physical: to compensate for a vulnerability. We need our rooms to align us to desirable versions of ourselves and to keep alive the important, evanescent sides of us.”
― Alain de Botton

1. The Modern House
The Modern House is a real estate agency based in England that specializes in architecturally significant, design-oriented homes. Founded by a pair of architecture journalists, the Modern House is a master at storytelling and portraying each home they represent in the best light possible.
Since they started their Youtube channel, I’ve been HOOKED on their home tours. Beyond the beautiful homes themselves, the stories and unique life experiences of each owner really shine through their videos.
Although this channel does feature its fair share of multi-million dollar homes, it also documents relatively normal, rented flats. If you prefer written text and pictures, they also have their own blog called Journal.
2. Never Too Small
Never Too Small is an Australian media company focused on highlighting small living space solutions and sustainable design. With almost 3 MILLION subscribers on Youtube, it is clear their content has struck a chord with viewers worldwide.
Out of all the channels on this list, this one is probably most conscious of the financial and space constraints everyday people have to deal with. They say scarcity is the mother of invention, and that could not be more true in this case. Some of the design solutions that people come up with for their homes aren’t just beautiful – they are downright genius. Check out one example in this small, oddly shaped Hong Kong apartment below:
3. Apartment Therapy
This one probably needs no introduction amongst design nerds. She’s the mother of many a Pinterest board, pioneer of home blogging, champion of small apartments – the one and only, Apartment Therapy.
In many ways, Apartment Therapy provides the perfect, much-needed foil to Architectural Digest. While Architectural Digest showcases homes most can only dream of, Apartment Therapy focuses on everyday normal apartments.
Back when I was living in a 300 square foot studio in Brooklyn, Apartment Therapy was my go-to for inspiration. Apartment Therapy proves you don’t need to live in a 10,000 square foot McMansion to live a beautiful life. In fact, small spaces can sometimes contain even more charm and character than larger ones.
4. Stacked Homes
Stacked Homes is a Singapore based interior design, architecture and construction industry media company. If you’re curious about what beautiful homes look like in the Southeast Asia, this channel is perfect for you.
Tropical brutalism, indoor-outdoor living and a focus on local, Southeast Asian artists and designers are recurring themes that permeate throughout this channel. Stacked Homes covers a wide range of Southeast Asian homes, from high end art-filled mansions, to beach side island villas, to impressive transformations of HDB flats (government public housing units that 77% of Singaporeans live in).
5. Everhouse
Everhouse is an interior design focused media company based in Malta, founded by a pair of creative filmmakers. I was captivated by their artistry from the minute I first stumbled upon this video about the former art studio of Maltese artist Frank Portelli and current home of his granddaughter Tammy. The Everhouse producers brilliantly capture the smart modern renovations that blend perfectly with homages to an iconic artist’s storied career.
Everhouse is perfect for art-lovers because they often feature art-filled homes belonging to creative industry professionals, from artists to actors. Many of the homes they tour are local to their home island of Malta, but you can also find international gems like this stunning hill-top, ocean view modern home in Topanga, California.
6. Parisian Vibe (“At Home” Series)
If you love daydreaming about life in France, Parisian Vibe’s At Home series is perfect. While the channel focuses on lifestyle and fashion, this series is so memorable it deserves a spot on this list.
Peek inside the gorgeous homes and lifestyles of some of France’s most intriguing creatives. From gorgeous traditional Haussmannian flats to cozy, rustic French countryside cottages, this channel will have you falling in love with all the different French ways of living.
7. The Sorry Girls
The Sorry Girls is home makeover and DIY focused channel run by a trio of girls, Kelsey, Becky and Rochelle. Most of the other channels on this list primarily feature home tours, while the Sorry Girls shares practical tips and tutorials on how to make your home better. I LOVE their fun yet down-to-earth approach to interior design (and so do 2 million other subscribers, apparently!)
If you love funky, colorful interiors, before and after makeovers, and practical how-to tips, this is the channel for you! You could even submit your own space to them for design advice – they just might do a free makeover in a video!
8. Elena Taber (“Buzzed In” Series)
Although Elena Taber is more of a lifestyle creator than an interior design vlogger, her series Buzzed In is a standout. She visits REAL New Yorkers in their homes, sharing everything from rent prices to houseplant sources.
Elena highlights the history and character of each home’s neighborhood, showcasing NYC’s incredible diversity. While she’s since moved to Paris, this series remains a favorite of mine for authentic home inspiration from America’s most iconic city.
Some of her most memorable apartment tours include this stunning “Greenpoint Greenhouse” loft overflowing with plants, Lale Boz’s beautiful industrial loft in the heart of Dumbo, and Nick’s vintage furniture filled modern LIC apartment.
9. Homeworthy
Homeworthy is an American architecture and interior design media company founded by former Good Morning America television producer Alison Kenworthy. If you’re a fan of more traditional design styles like New England coastal grandmother, grandmillennial, or English cottage shabby chic, this channel will be perfect for you.
Moreover, if you’re a true fan of LONG form content – and I mean documentary or feature film length – then you will LOVE Homeworthy. While their home tour videos are typically around 30 minutes, some of their design deep dive videos are over 2 HOURS long (like this grandmillennial one below). The production value and information delivered for FREE is incredible!
10. Eric Wang
Most channels on this list showcase various homes, but Eric Wang’s focuses on just one: his own. Surprisingly, it never gets repetitive or boring. His ongoing home updates and endless design tips keep it fresh. Besides, how could I not include the guy that put me on LAMPS?
His style is cozy and minimalistic – think Muji comfort meets mid-century modern. And best of all? He is relatable enough for his home aesthetic to feel attainable. Up until recently he was a 9 to 5 office worker (he’s since taken content creation full time). I loved his San Francisco loft, but his new retro California home in the Bay Area wilderness might top it.
Hope this post provided you a great starting point for diving into the fabulous resource that is Youtube Interior Design channels. If you come across any interesting new channels that aren’t on this list, please share them in the comments!
