Easter Appetizers:
1. Fancy Baked Brie
“Fancy” or elevated baked brie is an impressive and popular appetizer that is surprisingly easy to throw together. Just get a whole brie, add toppings of your choice like honey, walnuts, pistachio, fig or raspberry jam, and throw in the oven for a while to get that ooey, gooey texture. If it goes cold while you transport it to work, just throw it in the microwave on high for a minute or so to “revive it”. Serve with crackers, pita or baguette and your dish just might be the biggest hit at the work potluck!
These are some of my favorite super easy baked brie recipes:
- Baked Brie with Fig Jam and Pistachios
- Baked Brie with Pears, Pistachios and Honey
- Walnut Raspberry Baked Brie
2. Easter Veggie Tray + Dips
Veg and dip may be a somewhat “basic” appetizer, but you can customize it and dress things up for Easter. Add fresh springtime vibes with colorful fruits and veggies, and delicious dips packed with nutrients and flavor.
Just look at how stunning the Easter inspired veggie board below is. Take advantage of the bountiful vegetables in season during spring and add plenty of fresh herbs, produce, and even decorative edible flowers for a beautiful work of art.
3. Colorful Easter Deviled Eggs
You didn’t think you’d get through an Easter Potluck Ideas article without seeing Deviled Eggs, did you? Deviled eggs are beloved, popular staple at potlucks – and for good reason! They are bite-sized and perfectly portioned, deliciously creamy, yet filling and packed with protein.
Deviled eggs can also be easily customized with various toppings and dyes for additional style AND flavor.
Some awesome Easter themed deviled egg recipes:

4. Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus or Melon
Prosciutto wrapped asparagus is an elegant and visually appealing dish that is surprisingly easy to make. It’s also absolutely delicious and guaranteed to be a hit, whether it’s at an intimate dinner party, or an office potluck. Serve with grated cheese, lemon wedges, or tar tar sauce on the side for additional flavor.
5. Caprese Skewers
Caprese salad is a classic, elegant Italian appetizer that is always a crowdpleaser. Make them into portable and easy to eat skewers for the perfect appetizer for an Easter potluck at work.
Basil, mozzarella and tomatoes are the core ingredients, and season with olive oil, salt, pepper and balsamic glaze. SO simple, yet so delicious. You can customize it with add ons like prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes, and olives to your liking.
6. Pesto Crostini
Bruschetta is one of my favorite appetizers for a dinner party at home – tomatoey, garlicky and juicy topping on crusty bread, what’s not to love? Just one thing – it can get messy and soggy real quick if you’re not eating it fresh, and need to let it sit for hours during transport to an Easter potluck at work.
Try PESTO crostini instead! This underrated appetizer can be just as delicious, and holds up better without all the tomato juice sogging up the bread. You can customize it to your liking with prosciutto or other meat, mozzarella, olives, sun dried tomatoes, smoked salmon or whatever else suits your tastes.
- Caprese Pesto Crostini (Vegetarian)
- Pesto Prosciutto Mozzarella Crostini
- Mushroom Melted Cheese Pesto Crostini (Vegetarian)

You can add pineapple, zucchini or other veg for extra color and flavor.
10. Buffalo Chicken Wings or Buffalo Cauliflower

Buffalo wings aren’t just perfect game time or sports bar grub, they’re PERFECT for potlucks. Spicy, tangy, and perfectly pre-portioned, serve them with ranch or blue cheese dressing for extra flavor.

Easter Sides:
15. Potato Salad
No Easter potluck is complete without a classic potato salad! Creamy, comforting, and crowd-pleasing, it’s the perfect make-ahead side. Go for a traditional mayo-based version or keep it light and tangy with an easy, vinegar-based recipe — either way, you can’t go wrong.

16. Coleslaw
Somebody’s gotta bring the coleslaw right? This potluck staple has earned its rightful place in the canon for good reason – it’s delicious, crunchy, and the perfect complement to any mains. You can make it the traditional, creamy way with mayonnaise, or make a lighter, just as delicious version with no mayo:
17. Big Green Spring Salad
What could be better for an Easter potluck than a big, beautiful, bright SPRING salad? These are super easy to make, easily customizable to your liking, and best of all, look fabulous on a potluck table. Any of the following recipes should give you a winner:
18. Dense Bean Salad
Dense Bean Salads have been going viral on social media recently (created by the ever talented Violet Witchel) and for good reason! They’re not just perfect as a meal-prepped, weekday lunch solution, they can also be a flavorful, filling and healthy side for your potluck party. As an adult, they’re truly a go-to recipe for any potluck or dinner party because of how easily they can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge. They also come in so many delicious varieties, from pesto pasta salad to my classic favorite olive and zesty dressing pasta salad.

- Easy Zesty Pasta Salad with Olives and Italian Dressing
- Mediterranean Orzo Pasta Salad
Easter Desserts:
21. Carrot Cupcakes
Carrot cupcakes are perfectly on theme for Easter (hello there Easter bunny!). They’re also just delicious – the carrot’s moisture helps the cake turn out moist usually and the cream cheese frosting just balances everything out perfectly.

To ensure that they don’t get messed up in transit, keep the frosting layer thin and low, and pack them tightly in a tupperware with a lid. This recipe from Joy the Baker (the best baker on the internet in my humble opinion – any recipe I’ve made of hers has been a hit 100% of the time) is a great one:
22. Banana Bread
Banana bread is always a crowdpleaser. Gooey, moist and bursting with flavor, it is perfect for work because your coworkers can save it to enjoy later in the afternoon with their cup of coffee. As far as baking goes, this is also one of the easier, low-fuss recipes. You can customize with pumpkin, chocolate chip, or whatever else suits your fancy as well!

23. Classic Lemon Bars

Lemon bars can be a bright, tangy and refreshing end to a decadent Easter meal. They’re also relatively easy to make (as far as baking goes) and transport to work. Make any of these delicious lemon bar recipes in under an hour:
24. Fruit Skewers
Fruit Skewers are a healthy, refreshing and thoughtful dessert that caters to the co-workers who are more health conscious and watching their diet. They can also be visually stunning – arrange the fruit in a color gradient for a pretty rainbow skewer like in the picture below!
