The Short n’ Sweet (Sabrina Carpenter) Blue Cocktail recipe 💋🍸

If you’re looking for a blue cocktail recipe inspired by Sabrina Carpenter’s album Short n’ Sweet, you’ve come to the right place! This Sabrina-blue martini is perfect for your next Short N’ Sweet listening party, or for dancing the night away solo.

I’ve been a Sabrina Carpenter fan since the summer of 2023, when I just about broke the replay button on Spotify for the Emails I Can’t Send (EICS) album. I know pretty much every lyric on every song from the main AND extended track list. Skinny dipping and Feather are my absolute faves.

I foolishly thought to myself: “I’m definitely getting tickets the next time she’s going on tour”. I didn’t expect tickets to cost anymore than $20 – $40 a pop just like the EICS tour.

Imagine my surprise when just a year later, she’s become one of the biggest pop stars on Earth! Her Short N’ Sweet concert tickets go for thousands and thousands on resale websites now.

I’m stoked for her success, but also bummed I couldn’t snag a concert ticket in time. To make myself feel better, I came up with this Sabrina Carpenter themed Short N’ Sweet Martini recipe.

These electric blue martinis are delicious – slightly sour and sweet, and best of all, incredibly easy to make. This recipe makes a single serving, but you can easily multiply up the quantities and mix in a pitcher instead. As an added bonus, it contains the superfood ingredient blue spirulina, for an extra health kick!

These cocktails are perfect for any Sabrina Carpenter fan. So “please please please” give this short n’ sweet cocktail a try, I’m sure you’ll love the “taste” of them 😉.

Ingredients:

  1. 6oz Solti Blue Spirulina Superade (or blue spirulina power)
  2. 1 Lemon
  3. Blue Sprinkles
  4. 1.5 oz Vodka (any brand, I used Trader Joe’s Texas vodka)
  5. 1 large strawberry
  6. Hot Water
  7. Ice

Supplies Needed:

  1. Cocktail Shaker
  2. Large Flat Plate or Dish
  3. Small Bowl
  4. Martini Glass
  5. Knife
  6. Cutting Board

The Sabrina Carpenter Short N’ Sweet Martini Recipe:

1. First, you’re going to make a blue simple syrup from the blue sprinkles. In a small bowl, pour in equal portions of blue sprinkles and hot water, enough for 0.75 ounces of simple syrup.

Mix well with a fork until the sprinkles dissolve a bit (it doesn’t need to be completely dissolved). Set aside.

2. Cut a slice of lemon and glaze the rim of your martini glass with lemon juice.

3. Pour the blue sprinkles on the large flat dish in a circle. Put the outer edge of the martini glass in the sprinkles so they stick on the rim. Set aside.

4. If you don’t have the pre-made blue Spirulina superade, you can make your own from sugar, lemon and blue spirulina power. Add one teaspoon of blue spirulina, the juice of about 1/2 of a lemon, and 1 tsp of sugar to half a cup of hot water and mix well (you can adjust the proportion of lemon and sugar to your taste). Add ice to the hot water until you have 1 cup of room temperature spirulina-ade.

5. In a cocktail shaker with ice cubes, combine 0.75 oz of the blue sprinkle simple syrup, 1.5 oz of vodka, and 6 oz of the Blue Spirulina Superade. Note if you’re using a cocktail jigger, the smaller side measures 0.75 ounces and the larger side measures 1.5 ounces. Easy peasy!

If you’re sizing up the portion to make a cocktail pitcher, you need: 1/2 parts blue simple syrup, 1 part vodka, and 4 parts blue spirulina superade.

6. Cover your cocktail shaker, and shake vigorously, until the cocktail shaker looks frosty and you see condensation on the outside! Pour the cocktail into your sprinkle-frosted martini glass.

7. Cut a slide of strawberry for garnish and add it to the rim of your martini glass as a garnish. The strawberry looks just like Sabrina’s signature red lip kiss 💋.

Voila! You have your perfect blue cocktail inspired by Sabrina Carpenter.

There you go: the perfect electric blue, sparkly cocktail, fit for Sabrina Carpenter herself. If you end up making these, share a photo and a comment to show how they turned out!! I thoroughly enjoyed my blue martini while blasting Short N’ Sweet for the 123901829831th time.

Btw, did you know blue spirulina can help with hangovers? It’s a superfood rich in Vitamin B and other nutrients. So this cocktail doesn’t just taste and look good, it can feel good too by keeping hangovers short and sweet 😉💋. Enjoy!!!
