The Jennie "Ruby" Martini (Cherry Lychee Jasmine Tea Martini)
a martini so good you'll be feeling zen like jennie.

1 cocktail shaker
1 cocktail jigger (1.5 oz and 0.75 oz ideal)
1 knife
1 stick for garnish (toothpick, bbq skewer, or reusable cocktail garnish stick)
1 cutting board
1 martini glass (frost it in the freezer for 30 minutes beforehand ideally)
- 0.75 cups vodka
- 1 tbsp jasmine or green tea
- 2.25 ounces lychee juice
- 1 tbsp grenadine
- 1/2 fresh lime
- 2 lychees (for garnish, can be canned or fresh)
- 3 maraschino cherries (for garnish)
Make the tea infused vodka ahead of time by combining 1 heaping tablespoon of tea with 3/4 cups of vodka in a jar. Close jar lid tightly and let rest for 2 hours.
Combine 2.25 oz lychee juice, 2.25 oz tea infused vodka, 1 tbsp grenadine and the juice of 1/2 of a lime in a cocktail shaker half filled with ice. Shake vigorously, for at least 3 minutes.
Pour into a frosted (pre-frozen) martini glass, drop 1 maraschino cherry at the bottom of the glass, garnish with a skewer of 2 maraschino cherries and 2 lychees alternating. Enjoy!
